I suppose the first thing to say is that there is a fair chance I will be back, once some content is updated.

The main reason for this change of heart was yesterday I went to download the latest patch, and It bugged and told me to reinstall the game. To re-download the patches would take hours, all night I think. Took me almost that when I joined.

Its a great game but It feels like I'm paying to play a game in beta which I am not willing to do. I will check the forums still if permitted, and hope that if/when I come back the semi afk server will be a little more active.

I am downloading the EVE trial now, just to see, always been interested. Any tips?

No tips here. But I noticed that the game was unstable yesterday after patch download. I crashed two or three times. If it keeps crashing this weekend, then, yes I think it's time to leave. I hate that the guild seems to have gotten smaller in game. There were only two other peeps on yesterday and they weren't on guild chat.

So, what's next? Does anyone have a new game that we should try?

Playing lotro with sanchin and wanna from times to times. Other than that, i suppose wait till aoc dry.gif and hope for the best...

Yeah sorry wol tabula seems dying at the time Im writing this there are 4 online and thats rare, only 1-2 seem to talk on guild chat at all.

I'm contemplating leaving and handing the lead over to someone else whos playing who may want to give it a go, but havent decided yet.

yes, ppl was hoping for some action, and something that set it apart from the normal fantasy, wich it only have relly done in grafics.

there is a few things that set it apart the fantasy mmos, just it is not enouge with some more action/pvp

for now it is just grind like other games

I am more than happy to follow pax to another MMO so if we have any ideas..

I fixed TR without reinstall, but I am still gone come march 25.

I am not sure about EVE at all. BTW lol.

Eve is anything but a casual game, its more like a lifestyle so if your gonna play eve make sure to clear your calendar the next 6-12 months or more smile.gif

Conan is so close now that signing up for another MMO is kinda pointless at this time.

eve can be very casual, you can train without being on...
money is easy to com by, get a indy and mine in some 1,0 sector, and wacht some tv.
i quit becouse pvp was to much blob wars for me.... kill all stainers smile.gif former member of the real and first Curse alliance, the terror of eve smile.gif

i love to play conan, but as it looks now, i have to go sailing just as it goes live....

It's Sunday afternoon here in the new world. I was disconned an hour ago. Now I try to log on and the Cent server is offline! The rest show medium activity. This after all of those patches! What? DId they cut down on servers and that caused all of the activity? Oh well, if the temperature gets above 50 degrees, I'm going out of hibernation and run. Maybe there will be some hotties running today!

yes i work for the Royal Danish navy....
i also say that in the welcome new members tread smile.gif

i am going to the middel-sea for about 8 weeks, looking for smuglers and pirates, not joking.
I work on a corvert class ship, the last fully working warship we have, againg not joking, we have alot of ships with weapons, just not build for navel warfere.

Playing Dark Age of Camelot again on the US servers, while I wait for Conan and Warhammer to come before I decide on a new game.
Mostly learning towards WAR at the moment for the PvP model which is somewhat similar to DAoC (which I really enjoy), but Conan might be a possibility as well.

It's "sad" that the game is still struggling with content after this long, but only enforces my opinion that it was good that I left so early as I did smile.gif

Yeah I don't see it recovering at this point, but stranger things have happened.

Played AoC a little last nite, a very inviting world with nice graphics and awesome looking 3D babery blum.gif but controls were a tad weird.

no but when you tell ppl, in the year 2008, that you are on mission to prevent pirates to capture tradeships or other civil ships, they think you are crazy...


one at the classe i am currant taking was in warhammer beta, and toll me that the classes was very uneven, 1 classe coud easy kill all others, was early beta, and ofcourse now he cant rember what account he use to get in beta, he had about 10, so i coud borrow it smile.gif

Actually piratie is a major issue nowaday still, and compared to 20 years ago it's a bigger pb now. I have worked with people who have actually been attacked by some but that was on big container ships and in the sea of china and i those case either they die or you die, if they take the ship, you end up in the sea swimming home....

hey, if u start on eve write an eve mail to Jagor High. /i am playing semy-active..but i can help you wit hte basics..if u realy hookup with this game...
The best pvp ever though^^ ..when u loose a ship that realy costs you a lot..so adrenaline is high hehe

what do you think for the upcomming Huxley game?
