THE GALAXY REMAINS STRONG-www.mmorpg.com

Today, 80% of active players in Galaxies are veterans who were in the game prior to the new game enhancements (NGE). It’s true that many players reacted to the new direction of the game by clicking cancel in the days immediately following the NGE announcement and in fact, our unique usage dropped by 10%. The NGE has now been live for five weeks, the cancel rate has returned to average levels, and we’re seeing many former players return to the game and over 100,000 new players join Galaxies through the 10-Day Trial. Additionally, the third expansion pack, Trials of Obi-Wan, released November 1 is being enjoyed by tens of thousands of veteran Galaxies players.

In close, there are rumors that LucasArts is in talks with another company to sell the original game code. We can kiss getting our old game back with SOE in charge.

Naib showed me this the other and we were having a good laugh and chat about it. I think the part that theyre being sly with is "our unique usage dropped by 10%".
I think that "unique" refers to acounts with the same e-mail add / credit card details. If this is true, taking in to account that I had 2 accounts, Naib had 2 accounts, Scape had 3 (I think), they lost a hell of a lot more than 10% of active account biggrin.gif

even if they did get new players, and some old returned... they cant keep that player base.

To many bugs, to simple gameplay.
