My latest skirmish with SOE:

I unpacked my Matrix Online Game which I had been feeling sorry for because it stood on my desk for almost a year unopened. I installed it, everything went fine, went to station.com (World's least friendliest website) to enter my credit card #, it wouldnt accept it after 5 tries for no reason, I had to open an online chat service, no help there, he made me call long distance which wasted an hour of my time, they made me call my bank, which wasted another 30 minutes, than i had to call soe back, add another 30 minutes here, they finally couldnt solve the problem, surprise, surprise, but hey, at least they gave me a free month without needing my credit card , tried it for 1 hour, it was ok I guess, very repetitive and the combat wasnt anything great, uninstalled it and hopefully that's my last struggle agaisnt these bastards .

That means the death of Pax City also guys on that date, the world will look massivly different after that. I imagine most of the cities will perish.

With at least 75%+ of structures in the entire universe going *POOF*, then yes, I imagine the place will look a bit different.

For those that still play, are all those buildings to the north of Corellia? still there, think it was a town called Trade City?..and how about the masses of houses to the south along the border of the no-build zone?

Ive no idea how many people play SWG now, but can see so much space being freed up it will be almost like a fresh server.

WOW.. they actually will do it?.... how come they are always so INSANLY late....

They listen to the community only after it has all gone wrong... yeeezess.... I have never ever seen more moronic company behavior in my life... it really takes cancelled accounts and failing income for them to LOOK at the real problems...

Atleast this has thaught me a lesson should I ever run a buisness that requires good customer service... keep the community happy... and listen to the CORE customers... in this case the regular players... not some panel of 12 year olds.

I logged on the other day, and even going from WOW the graphics are really hurting. I ran the game at maximum graphical settings... only then was it semi ok. But the entire engine is outdated now... that and the game dead.. it is only running still since it has Lucas and Sony in the back... must be a massive dollar drain... I cannot see how they can earn enough to cover the payment of their programmers/support etc... but with this new SOE portal I bet they service all games at the same time.. so the income of one game alone might not be so important....

Yes the scenery and such is outdated the character graphics are still top notch tough.

Man ofc i cannot access for packup and you guys guess why ... simple ... i was STUPID enuff to pay for a full year for my LAC'Dreenom account just before the Nasty Gaming Extortion and my acc. ran out guess when? after 17th of april meaning i am not eligible for a 14 day packup access. this made me uninstall the game once and for all.

I WILL NOT GO BACK TO SWG EVER AGAIN

and only if the guild decides to go SWG 2 (if there ever is one) in FULL FORCE will i ever play anything like that again. I am so pissed off atm i cannot type anymore

Well you wont lose anything as its stored into inventory, but its no loss anyway as the game seems very dead.

Had a peek around last night and apart from some people afk at Pax City shuttle, I didnt see a soul, not even in Coronet.

Ive fed Archie and jetted around on my jetpack but not much in the game to do for me, will pop in later for a bit more of a peek but only to count my credits.

Also popped in earlier gonna make a little video of Pax city before it pops if I get fraps to work properly, kinda sad to see the city now after they added the (abandoned) message to the houses.

So many it will look bad once that goes into effect.

I was on aswell yesterday, had a look. Sad to see all the red signs.

Also makes me mad when I see how nice the game looks at maximum resolution... had they handled it better I bet most of us had still been there...

I managed to get Kagemaru to log in yesterday b4 (on diffrent comp) and the only thing that stung me was that it didnt sting at all to see my stuff

it was originaly meant to happen with crapter 6. Postponed to june 5. Now its been postponed to june 12, allegedly, due to issues regarding the system. Seems to me like the death throes of a dying mule... like... old vets...? please? come back? pretty please? /snicker

No way I am going back for sure.As for houses etc they can repack them and put them
at our inventory.They messed the game so much and I am afraid that they will do it
too for Vanguard.I guess I was lucky I didnt have probs with Sony at EQ2. hehe

Yeah, they postponed it saying that if they indeed had packed up the houses that all of the vendor inside of them would be deleted. Imo they just want to give another week for people to reactivate which isn't going to happen.
