Well SOE has now announced a new patch...

Introducing UNDEADS.... yeah you read it... "Death Troopers"... now they have copyed WOW for ages, trying to steal players from them, and hoping they could keep it all afloat by making the game as similar as possible.. now they even (LOL) made the Death Knigth Starwars style.

Can someone please place a class action lawsuit on their ars? I want to see SOE burn.

Well SWG the way we knew it is dead and sealed and where i am concerned burned and buried as well. So it is only interesting to see the further decline of a huge potential to something that does not deserve the SW franchise. Don*t get me wrong guys the book and story might be great, but as theo suggests it seems now only a measure to keep the game going somehow. all in all wasted storage space. i won't fall for it, that's for sure

i don't know what that idea is, however it doesn't change the fact that i had good times in swg still even after nge, which was a bad idea obviously, but the pvp battles i had in restruss were quite nice

As much as I hate SOE for ruining Star Wars: Galaxies, this is probably one of the one decent thing they have done since the NGE was released. "Death Troopers" isn't something they came up with, to steal from Wow or just attract people back because they have zombies, but a novel. A novel that was released in October, in time for Halloween, that in the Star Wars community was something new for the franchise to take, and it worked. The novel is a must read if you are a Star Wars fan.

There are two reasons why I applaud SOE for adding this patch in. First, this takes place right in the timeline of where the game is right now, and all of us should know, that Sony doesn't care much for the timeline 90% of the time. Secondly, it's a tie in for an event in the Star Wars community that actually matters. The last time we had a tie in like this, it was Trials of Obi-Wan and it was both bitter sweet because of the NGE in addition to it being a tie in for the DVD release of Revenge of The Sith.

Cut them some slack guys. This patch was something good on their part, and not some dude sitting in the basement who smoked a joint (Which, I think we can agree is something all SOE employees do) and said "We should totally put zombies in the game"

The only thing good about Sony is their PS3 and Blu-Ray. Still running strong since 2007.

Yeah, I dont mind SONY. it is SOE which need a bullet.
